Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is particularly effective for male and female pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia), and has been used successfully for other types of hair loss as well. Platelets contain healing growth factors that signal your tissue, via stem cells, to regenerate and multiply.
A small amount of blood is drawn, concentrated in a centrifuge, and strategically injected into the scalp. Each session takes about 30 minutes with minimal downtime. The program involves three initial sessions one month apart, followed by maintenance every three to six months. Observable results typically appear within three to twelve months.
